Hi everyone,

I hope we have nice weather this Tuesday when we enjoy the outdoors. After such a long winter I know we’re al finding ways to enjoy the outdoors. Speaking of which, I am very excited for our group project that is moving along, a park in downtown BD. Would love to hear your ideas about this and how we can create a space downtown that will be used and appreciated by all. See you next week!

I used those free passes and took my girlfriend to the YMCA. We played some basket ball, walked on a tread machine, and went swimming in the lap pool. She really liked the place and I was also impressed. I plan to take her to the Dodge county historical society building and the BDAAA. Maybe some of the other places we visited. I am planning to ask her to come to the Max Impact Simalcast too.

I really liked the business in our community. I think it was very inspiring thea the business owners knew everything that went an in their company. Sorry for the late post…I think this is a good idea…I just have to remember to do it.

Hi LBD!

I am really looking forward to our session next week. I had an opportunity to meet with my project group today and am excited about being involved in something that will last for generations with our downtown park initiative. I also wanted to let you know that LBD has inspired me to run for City Council. I look forward to hearing your ideas for our community that I can take with me into this new role. See you all next week.

Did you have a recorder?

How was your recorder decided?

Was any one person more dominant?

Did you all listen to each other?

Could you tell who was positive in looking for a solution?

Who was more negative?

Did negative comments move you forward?

How did you arrive at the solution?

Did you all agree?

Did you all feel involved in the solution?

Was there more “story” exchange than a problem solving?

I thought that October’s session was great!  I was concerned with the fact that we’d be doing a lot of listening and not much moving - but the day went by so quickly!  The speakers were informative and  interesting.  Each presenter brought something different to the “table”.  And our afternoon session with Marty was great too; our group had interesting topics with much discussion.

I’m looking forward to November’s session.

Regards,

Pam Korth
