Our History
The Women’s Affiliate of the Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1962 at a time in history when women were not accepted as members of the Chamber of Commerce. The Charter members represented a cross section of our community and a variety of entrepreneurial occupations. These women had a desire to make a contribution and to work positively for Beaver Dam. The initial name of the group was the “Chambermaids” and reflected the sense of humor and spirit of fun that the initial group possessed. Now as the “Women’s Affiliate” the membership continues in the spirit of good will and positive contributions to the Beaver Dam Community.

39th Annual “A Day in the Park” Arts & Craft Show

Held on the second Sunday in July, this Arts & Craft Show features over 250 crafters from across the country.

Historical Afghans & Ornaments

Available at Kornely’s, or the Beaver Dam Chamber Office.

• The afghans come in cranberry, french blue or celery and feature pictures of local landmarks. ($35)
  
• The ornament series began in 2000 and each year features a new local landmark. Series of six.($2/ornament or $10 for all 6)
  
• Beaver Dam Fleece for both men and women ($18 each or 2 for $30)

Membership
Any woman who supports the objectives of the Chamber and is actively engaged in, or retired from, business, industry, government, public services or the professions is welcome to join.

Dues
Annual dues of $20.00/member

Meetings
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at area restaurants
